The tulle I sell is 100% Nylon and is therefore inherently exempt from testing because it meets the requirements for flammability in clothing, costumes, and textiles set forth in The Standard. Some companies say their tulle is rated Class 1 of CFR Title 16 Part, which means it "exhibit normal flammability and are acceptable for use in clothing." Testing of 100% nylon textiles is not required by the US Federal Government or the Consumer Protection Safety Commission. It is NOT REQUIRED of any seller of nylon tulle to have the tulle tested in order to claim or guarantee that it meets The Standard. Our tulle has not been tested for flammability by a certified lab as it is not required.
